Individual Therapy

I currently offer remote individual psychotherapy services to adults across the province of Ontario. Online and phone sessions are available.
During the intake process, which often takes between 1-2 sessions, we will take some time to get to know one another, explore the concerns bringing you to therapy as well as your personal history, and then discuss your goals, including what you want to get out of the therapy process.
It’s okay if you don’t know exactly what your goals are; we’ll figure it out together. We’ll also look at the strengths and resources you already possess (and there is always something, trust me) and what you might need along the way to help you reach your goals. We’ll come up with an initial plan and begin our journey together from there.
We’ll also pause throughout the course of therapy to re-assess our work together, your goals, and progress towards them (acknowledging that progress is NOT linear and our focus/goals can change and evolve over time).
